Winger eyed

Aston Villa have reportedly joined the race to sign Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson. According to a report by the Daily Mail, Unai Emery is ‘keen’ to lure the 23-year-old to the Midlands this summer to bolster his squad and will ‘rival’ fellow Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion for his signature.

Nelson has a big decision to make on his future at the Emirates Stadium with his contract up at the end of the season. He isn’t guaranteed regular first-team fotball with the London club and is due to become a free agent in late June as things stand.

Striker on radar

Arsenal have ‘identified’ Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin as a potential summer target, according to a report by Football Insider. The former Sheffield United man is currently embroiled in a relegation battle at Goodison Park.

He has played for the Merseyside club since the summer of 2016. The 26-year-old has since chipped in with 59 goals in 203 appearances in all competitions but has struggled for minutes this term due to injury problems.
