All the latest news surrounding Arsenal as Mikel Arteta and Edu consider possible signings ahead of the summer window.

Mikel Arteta and Arsenal’s chiefs are now gathering their summer plans as their players jet off for holidays and international football.

The Gunners will be expected to have a busy summer as they prepare for a return to the Champions League, while they will also be hoping to mount another Premier League title challenge. Arteta will know he needs more depth and quality to manage both of those objectives, and so the work will already be underway as far as recruitment is concerned.

In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Simons links

Arsenal are said to be interested in signing PSV star Xavi Simons this summer.

The former PSG prodigy is only 20 years of age, but he has become a regular at PSV since arriving in 2020. The midfielder has scored as many as 19 times in 34 league appearances, and he is now being linked with a move away from the Dutch club, expected to continue developing.

Voetbal International say Arsenal are interested, but there is a significant problem, with PSG reportedly having a buy-back option, giving them the right of first refusal this summer and beyond.

Balogun interest

Arsenal star Folarin Balogun is being linked with a move away from the club this summer.

Balogun has impressed on a loan spell with Reims, but he is unlikely to find first teams starts while Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah are around at the Emirates Stadium. Reportedly keen to move permanently over a loan deal, Balogun is now being linked with an exit as we move into the summer months.

According to The Mirror, Serie A winners Napoli are interested in a move for Balogun as they consider possible replacements for Victor Osimhen, who could be snapped up ahead of the new season.
