Park Royal: Witnesses sought to fatal A40 Tesla and Range Rover crash

Police are urging witnesses to a fatal crash on the A40 which saw a woman killed and a car end up on the Piccadilly Line Tube tracks at Park Royal station to come forward.
Met Police officers want to hear from any witnesses to a fatal collision on the A40, in Ealing, west London.

Hide AdOfficers were called to a collision on the road heading westbound near Park Royal Underground Station at 3.48am on Monday, August 22.
Paramedics and police attended, where they found a Range Rover and a Tesla had collided.
A 33-year-old woman, thought to be a passenger in the Range Rover, died at the scene.
The Range Rover had left the road and gone onto the railway line, officers said.

Hide AdAnd it is believed that the Tesla was stationary at the time.
The woman’s family have been informed.
A 23-year-old man, the driver of the Range Rover, has been taken to hospital in critical condition.
A 26-year-old woman, who was also a passenger in the vehicle, is injured but not in a life-threatening condition.
A 56-year-old man, believed to have been with the stationary Tesla, was treated for injuries.
These are also not considered life-threatening.

Hide AdPrevious police reports stated this person was female, but is in fact male.
Cordons were in place following the collision and the Piccadilly Line was partly suspended.
