Hide AdLondon has been at the centre of The Crown during its six-season as the show has portrayed the royal residence of Buckingham Palace and other notable regal happenings around the city.
But Crown viewers may have also recognised the capital standing in for some other places further afield. Parts of the city have been the setting for scenes based in both Hong Kong and the states.

Hide AdThis Mayfair spot acted as the Paris Ritz in the sixth season of the show as the series documented Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed's final moments in episode three, Dis-Moi Oui, as they stayed in one of the luxury hotel's suites.
Londoners may recognise Canary Wharf at the start of the second half of season six as a stand-in for Chicago. The east London hub appears briefly in episode six as the then UK Prime Minister gave a speech in the US windy city.
Wrotham Park - Buckingham Palace interiors
Used often throughout the show's six-season run as the setting of the Queen's private audiences with Prime Ministers, in the latest season, it was used for Her Majesty's private meeting with Tony Blair.

Hide AdCrown viewers may also recognise this spot for some of the interior shots of Buckingham Palace in the series. With lavish and regal decor throughout, it's no surprise the spot has been featured in the beloved royal series.
Another Buckingham House stand-in spot is the Old Royal Naval College, which has been used for exterior shots of the iconic London landmark throughout the series. The column-cladded building bears a striking resemblance to the familiar royal location’s grand exterior.
