Headlining at Glastonbury and BST Hyde Park 2024 this summer is US soul superstar SZA.

This summer SZA will headline a massive Hyde Park show on Saturday June 29, as well as the Glastonbury Festival.

Earlier this month, the R&B star stopped the seemingly unstoppable Taylor Swift, taking the Best International Artist prize at the Brit Awards.

On the first of three weekends of BST Hyde Park, SZA will top a line-up including Sampha and Snoh Aalegra. Tickets go on sale on Friday March 8.

She has also been named as a Glastonbury headliner, along with Dua Lipa and Coldplay.

Who is SZA?

Pronounced ‘siz-a’, SZA gets more than 70 million monthly listens on Spotify, ranking at 13th in the world on the platform.

Born Solána Imani Rowe and having grown up in New Jersey, she found success with a series of EPs and collaborations with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, and Rihanna.

SZA's first album, Ctrl, cemented her place in pop, gaining five Grammy nominations.

Her second album, SOS (2022), went straight to number one on the Billboard 200, produced four Top Ten pop singles – including the chart-topping revenge fantasy Kill Bill – and earned three Grammy awards.

Last June, as part of her international SOS tour, SZA performed four nights at London's O2 arena, as well as nights in Glasgow and Manchester.

Snoh Aalegra

Iranian-Swedish singer Snoh Aalegra is celebrated for her soulful sound, influenced by icons including Stevie Wonder and Whitney Houston, and was mentored by Prince for two years. She has collaborated with heavyweights including Drake and Common.

The Amex presale begins at 10am on Wednesday March 6.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday March 8 via the BST Hyde Park website.

SZA joins previously announced headliners Kings of Leon (June 30), Andrea Bocelli (July 5), Robbie Williams (July 6), Shania Twain (July 7), Stevie Nicks (July 12), Kylie Minogue (July 13) and Stray Kids (July 14).
