Kings of Leon to play BST Hyde Park 2024: 'Ready to have some fun' - how to get tickets

Nashville’s Kings of Leon are the latest headliners announced for BST Hyde Park 2024 in London.

The Sex on Fire band will play on Sunday June 30, along with guests Paolo Nutini and The Vaccines, and a full line-up to be announced. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday (February 28).

Kings of Leon have just announced their ninth studio album, Can We Please Have Fun, which was recorded at Dark Horse studio and produced with new collaborator Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles, Florence + the Machine).

Headliners already announced for BST Hyde Park 2024 include Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams.

Kings of Leon said in a statement: “We can’t wait to get back to London and play at BST this summer. It is always a blast to play in the UK and we are ready to have some fun.”

Made up of brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill, along with cousin Matthew Followill, the band first found success in the UK, where, in 2003, debut album Youth and Young Manhoodwas declared as "one of the best debut albums of the last 10 years".

The multi-platinum selling band has three Grammy Awards, three NME Awards, two BRIT Awards, and one Juno Award.

Joining the bill is Scottish singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini, who became a sensation in 2006 with debut album These Streets. Nutini returned in 2022 with Last Night in the Bittersweet, topping the charts once more.

The line-up for BST 2024 is still being announced, following the success of a 2023 bill featuring Pink, Guns N’ Roses, Take That, Blackpink, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Billy Joel, and Lana Del Rey.

Tickets go on sale on Wednesday February 28 at 10am via the BST Hyde Park website.

An American Express presale is live from 10am February 23.
