Pixies announce two London shows for 2023: Roundhouse dates and how to get tickets

The band that your favourite band have been influenced by, Pixies, have confirmed two London dates as part of a short tour of the UK in 2023.

Heralded for their influence on the alternative music scene, musicians from Kurt Cobain to PJ Harvey have all cited the group as having inspired their songwriting and powerful dynamics throughout their music.

The band’s loud-quiet-loud sound became a blueprint in terms of song dynamics, with the formula being a cornerstone of the grunge movement in the 90s and such was their synonymy with the songwriting style that their documentary, loudQUIETloud, was named after it.

The band are touring across Europe to promote the release of their latest album, Doggerel, which was released in September so fans can expect songs from the new release to feature prominently during the shows.

But as always, there will always be room for Black Francis and cohorts to perform some of their iconic tracks, including Where Is My Mind, Monkey Gone To Heaven and Here Comes Your Man.

Pixies will be performing at the Roundhouse, Chalk Farm Rd, Chalk Farm on March 20 and March 21 2023, with doors opening at 7pm on the March 20 show at 7:30pm on the March 21 show.
