New Year's Eve London: Six great bars, restaurants and gigs with tickets available

Millions of Londoners will be gearing up right now for a big weekend to celebrate the arrival of 2024.

While some will have made plans months ago, others will not be so organised. Whether you are a group in need of a plan, or someone solo at a loose end, here are some suggestions.

The rocking one - Walthamstow Brewery Signature

Rockers, grungers and grebos will be seeing in 2024 with music from Jamie Lenman, InMe, Yur Mum, Sophie K (We Wear Black) DJ set and more at - Walthamstow Brewery Signature Brew's New Year's Rockin' Eve.

Food comes from 7Bone where you can grab burgers including a Prince Charles is Overrated or a Donnie J Trump - and beer comes from the award-winning Signature Brew. Tickets are available to buy for £45 (or buy four and get one free).

The flash one - Searcys at the Gherkin

For a decadent night out, some may want to splash out on £399 (silver package) or £499 (gold package) tickets for Searcys at the Gherkin. Cityscape views - check; Champagne - check; unlimited food and drinks; private dining rooms - check; DJ - check.

The Bollywood beats one - Cinnamon Kitchen City

Cinnamon Kitchen City, near Liverpool Street, is hosting an evening of contemporary Indian dishes, innovative cocktails, and Bollywood beats. You can eat first with a five-course feast or head straight to the dancefloor.

The all-dayer one - London Music Showcase

If you're short of plans and a music fan, then the London Music Showcase Meetup group is exactly the thing for you. Twice a week individuals and groups join the extremely welcoming Meetup events at different venues to find like-minded people. On your own, in a couple, or in a group - check it out.

On New Year's Eve, London Music Showcase is hosting nine acts at The Camden Club, and tickets are available at £20 in advance or £35 on the door.

The rooftop one - Skylight Peckham

There are still tickets left to kick your evening off with a first-sitting (6pm to 8.30pm) meal, glass of Champagne and view of the city at Skylight Peckham.

Tickets are £50 per person and available now.

The pub one - King's Head Theatre Pub, Islington

How about spending the night at one of London's lovely local pubs? I suggest the King's Head in Upper Street, Islington, but as there are more than 3,000 to choose from, take your pick - support your local!
