Lush Spa Covent Garden: Escape the city with Lush’s relaxing new Rewilding facial

Forget the crammed tubes and hectic streets of London, Lush’s new facial will have you feeling like you’re snuggled up for a night under the stars.

Rewilding is a 50-minute lifting facial that launches at Lush spas nationwide today (March 20) including the brand’s two London spots in Oxford Street and Covent Garden.

Ahead of the facial joining Lush spa’s growing catalogue of treatments which also includes the fan fave Synthesia, I was one of the first to experience Rewilding at the Covent Garden spa which opened in the capital last summer.

Starting off with a brief overview of what to expect across the session and a preview of some of the products they will use I was then led into the cozy treatment room.

The whole facial is centered around connecting the microbiome of our skin to the wider eco system of planet earth.

You’ll feel at one with nature as soon as you step into the treatment room as birds chirping and soft winds soundtrack space.

Once settled the facial commences with a double cleanse before your skin is replenished with an array of nature rich goodies. From the asparagus and patchouli oil infused Ayesha mask to the Full Of Grace serum which comes in bar form.

While it's a facial as part of the experience the therapist also includes your neck shoulders and scalp in the treatment to remove any tension you may have.

Although just as you feel as if you could drift off to sleep you’re awoken from a deep state of relaxation with a cooling witchhazel and peppermint jelly face mask.

Finishing off with a layer of Lush’s Gorgeous Moisturiser to lock in all the goodness from the treatment I was in awe of how great my skin looked after. It gave me the glass skin of my dreams.
