Schools have broken up for the Easter holidays, which is good news for teachers but for parents that means two weeks of keeping little ones occupied.

This year the school holidays fall roughly between Monday April 3 and Sunday April 16 2023 for most schools in London, while the Easter Bank holiday will run from April 7 to 10.

BBC Earth Experience

Voiced by Sir David Attenborough, this immersive experience is open to all ages (under-3s go free) and will be a walk-through take on the 2019 TV show, Seven Worlds, One Planet.

Visitors at the BBC Earth Experience can enjoy breath-taking footage and music showing the diversity of our seven continents on enormous 360-degree screens.

This Easter at Kew Gardens, join Superworm for a new adventure with all the heroes from the best-selling book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

Follow a trail through the gardens, keeping your eyes open for characters from the book, and find out the role they play in the gardens, as well as the importance of soil

Alongside the trail, see colourful spring plants bursting into life in the Gardens.

Coronation crafts at Tower Bridge

This Easter Tower Bridge is inviting families to get into the Coronation spirit early in their special craft sessions.

While the ceremony takes place on Saturday, May 6, the crafting sessions begin during the Easter holidays (April 4, 11 and 15).

In the sessions kids will create their own crowns, Coronation-style sashes or celebratory bunting. Each piece of bunting made will go on display within the bridge over the coronation weekend.

Titanosaur: Life as the Biggest Dinosaur

This Easter, why not take the kids along to see one of the biggest animals ever to walk the Earth.

Titanosaur: Life as the Biggest Dinosaur is a temporary exhibition which will take visitors on a journey across the life of a giant titanosaur –from the elusive egg laid in its nest millions of years ago, to evidence of a fearsome predator that took a bite out of its tail in a fight for survival.

Kids can handle specimens, explore interactives and see this extraordinary dinosaur up close in this brand new exhibition at the Natural History Museum.
