The namesake behind the luxury fashion brand Chanel will be the focus of a new exhibition opening in the capital this week. The life and work of Gabrielle Bonheur ‘Coco’ Chanel is set to be celebrated in a new art show.

Just in time for London Fashion Week, the Gabriella Chanel Fashion Manifesto exhibition is set to open its doors. It will be the first exhibition dedicated to the fashion designer to open in the UK.

As well as exploring the late Chanel founder’s journey to creating one of fashion’s most well-known brands, the exhibition is also set to capture how her timeless designs continue to have an influence in modern fashion.

Yes, the Gabriella Chanel Fashion Manifesto exhibition is a ticketed event. Passes are available to buy on the V&A website.

The event appears to be currently booked up until late December. However, there are still slots available for the new year.

General tickets start from £16, including both student and under-26 passes. Adult tickets are £26.

As explained on the V&A website, members of the museum will be able to enter the exhibition for free and won’t have to worry about booking their visit in advance.
