The 2024 Olympic Games will begin in Paris this Friday (July 26) with a majestic opening ceremony planned along the River Seine.

In total, 329 events will be contested in Paris across 32 sports, before the closing ceremony on Sunday, August 11. 10,714 athletes from 206 nations will participate in the international multi-sport event.

For sports enthusiasts who can’t make it over to the French capital for the games, not to worry there are plenty of places to soak up the atmosphere right here in London.

Here are four fan zones in the capital where fans can support Team GB with family and friends for free.

Lewis Cubitt Square, King’s Cross

King’s Cross, N1C 4DR

Alongside the big screen sporting action, fans visiting the Team GB Fanzone at King’s Cross will also enjoy live DJ sets, the chance to try their hand at Olympic-themed activities, and a programme of onstage entertainment, including Q&As and medal celebrations with Team GB’s returning athletes.

Power Station Park, Battersea

Enjoy all the live action from the six-acre Power Station Park on the banks of the River Thames, and discover sporting and gaming activity taking place across the neighbourhood throughout the summer.

Grosvenor Square, Mayfair

Grab a deck chair to watch the sporting action on a giant outdoor screen, just a short stroll from Bond Street, Oxford Circus and Green Park Tube stations.
