West Ham have made an impressive start to the new season under David Moyes. The Hammers have picked up 10 points from their first four games and are joint-second in the table.

They are in for a tricky test at home to champions Manchester City this weekend. Here is a look at how they could line-up against Pep Guardiola’s side...

GK: Alphonse Areola: The former PSG man has been given the nod in the league ahead of Lukasz Fabianski so far in this campaign.

RB: Vladimir Coufal: He has made four appearances this term for West Ham.

CB: Kurt Zouma: The former Chelsea man has established himself as a key player at the heart of defence at the London Stadium.

CB: Nayef Aguerd: He has been linked with City and Liverpool recently, as per Football Insider, after his impressive stint with the Hammers.

LB: Emerson: The 29-year-old has played 37 matches in all competitions since joining the club, chipping in with two goals.

CM: James Ward-Prowse: He was signed from Southampton in the last transfer window to help fill the void left by Declan Rice’s exit to Arsenal.

CM: Edson Alvaraz: The Mexico international, who has 70 caps to his name, linked up with the London outfit back in August on a four-year deal.

RW: Jarrod Bowen: He has scored four goals in the first four outings and is in decent form as he look to cause City some problems.

CAM: Lucas Paqueta: Guardiola wanted to lure him to the Etihad Stadium but he ended up staying put beyond the deadline.

LW: Said Benrahma: The ex-Brentford man has chipped in with 24 goals in 137 matches for West Ham to date.

ST: Michail Antonio: He has led the line well over recent times and has Danny Ings as back-up.
