Lukasz Fabianski-5

Took 35 minutes for him to make his first save of the game. Beaten by a good Emerson Royal strike in the second half and could do little about the Son goal.

Thilo Kehrer-6

Miss timed a Kane challenge early on and was quite lucky not to have given away a penalty in the first half. He did get the better of Richarlison for most of the time the Brazilian was on the field by just being first to the ball.

Angelo Ogbonna-3

Good block on Kane in the first half and was decent aerially. Got dragged out of position and didn’t see the run from the Tottenham full-backs that led to the first goal. Lost Kane for the second in what was a disappointing game for the Italian.

Nayef Aguerd-5

Showed great timing when he went for a tackle and composure when he needed to. Looks like he’s settled so comfortably in the back three system which David Moyes has deployed recently. Would be gutted by the fact that they could not keep a clean sheet.

Vladimir Coufal- 5.5

The right wing back is back in-form and was outstanding on and off the ball, especially in the first half. Not at fault for any of the Tottenham goals. Would have had a higher rating but the fact that was on the losing side.

Tomas Soucek-4

Had a great start where he chased and made interesting runs into the final third. Barely got the ball in the sound half which partly explained the drop in performance from his team.

Declan Rice- 5

Good start to the game before Tottenham ceased in the second half and took the game home. Disappointing day in the office for the often reliable midfielder.

Emerson-5

Decent outing for the left-back. Kept an eye on the in-form Emerson Royal and joined the attack every time there was an invitation. Made to defend more in the second half than he would have liked

Flynn Downes- 4.5

Decent game for the English midfielder even though he’d have wanted to have a more telling effect on the attacking phase

Jarrod Bowen-4

Quiet game for Bowen here today and it was not for lack of effort, just lacked the sharpness and connection.

Michail Antonio-4

Hard running but not enough service and when it did come, it was so far away from the goal.

Benrahma- 5

Lit up the West Ham attack when he came on but not enough to turn the game on its head.

Ben Johnson- N/A

Fornals - N/A

Ings- N/A
