West Ham were humbled once again by Championship side Bristol City in the FA Cup third round replay at Ashton Gate on Tuesday night.
It took the Robins just three minutes to pounce on a Konstantinos Mavropanos error and put the home side ahead through Tommy Conway with the Hammers struggling to find any fightback. A red card to forward Said Benrahma in the second half didn't help David Moyes' side, who are still to win a fixture this month.
West Ham will feel aggrieved Bristol City didn't also see a man sent off for aggression but can have few complaints with the team's overall performance across the two legs. Here's how the Hammers stars rated tonight.

6. Emerson - 8
Can be proud of his showing tonight. Always looked a danger, finding some brilliant balls and stepped up when the side went down to 10. | AFP via Getty Images

7. James Ward-Prowse - 6
One of few Hammers stars who is truly consistent. A few trademark dangerous set-plays but not enough about him tonight to unlock Bristol City. | AFP via Getty Images

8. Tomas Soucek - 5
West Ham needed their big midfielder to take the game by the scruff of its neck, and he didn't. Did make good contact with a Cornet cross in the second half and was unlucky not to grab an equaliser. | AFP via Getty Images
