Latest news regarding David Moyes’ future at West Ham as managerial update emerges following the Hammers’ loss away at Brighton in the Premier League

West Ham reportedly have no plans to sack David Moyes following their heavy 4-0 loss away at Brighton and Hove Albion over the weekend. The Hammers have been dragged into a relegation battle in the Premier League.

According to the Daily Mail, the London club have ‘no intention’ of parting company with their current manager at this moment in time. They are now only a point above the drop zone with 13 games left to play.

West Ham had a brilliant campaign last term and finished 7th in the table. That saw them qualify for Europe but this season has proved tough, perhaps due to the volume of matches they have to play.

Moyes first moved to the London Stadium back in 2017 and managed to keep the club in the top flight during his first spell. He then made his return over a year later and has since held his position, doing an impressive job up until this season.

The former Everton, Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland boss is vastly experienced and parting company with him at such a crucial stage would be a risk by West Ham.

Pressure is mounting though as his side slip closer to the bottom three but he appears to have the backing of the board for now. Rivals near the bottom such as Southampton, Leeds United and Everton have all made managerial changes over recent times.
