West Ham transfer news: Irons ‘interested’ in £10m Tottenham target, Chelsea ‘face competition’ from Man Utd for £8m raid

West Ham are reportedly accelerating their pursuit to sign Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca.

The Hammers are working on a move to lure the attacker to the Premier League to bolster their options up top.

David Moyes’ side are in Europe again next season and could see the Italy international as someone to offer them something different up top.

90min claim the London club have agreed a deal in principle with the two clubs yet to agree an exact transfer fee at this stage.

Talks between the two parties are expected to continue ‘talks’ over the coming days.

Scamacca has been with Sassuolo since 2017 but has spent the majority of his time with the Serie A club out on loan.

He joined them from PSV and has since been shipped out on loan to Cremonese, PEC Zwolle, Ascoli and Genoa to gain experience.

The forward returned to his parent club last summer with a spring in his step and ended up firing 16 goals in all competitions.

That goal return has seen him emerge on the radar of West Ham and they are now trying to bring him to England.
