Conte took over as Tottenham’s manager just over a year ago and made headlines by banning ketchup and mayonnaise from the menu at Spurs Lodge when he first took over from Nuno Espirito Santo in 2021.
He has also removed all heavy food and sandwiches from the menu and made sure that players have lunch together, a move that has recently strengthened the squad’s bonds. Some team videos now show players having meals together.

This is not new to fans who have followed Antonio Conte’s career, as he employed similar principles when he was the manager at Chelsea and Inter Milan, both of which were hugely successful spells.
On the field, Tottenham will host Chelsea this weekend in the Premier League. Conte is still in Italy, but his assistant Cristian Stellini has a 100% winning record in the absence of his boss, having won three games at Inter Milan and three games as assistant Tottenham manager.
Conte, however, is expected to return to London next week after staying behind following the Champions League defeat to AC Milan.
