Tottenham assistant manager Cristian Stellini, deputising for manager Antonio Conte has left Son Heung-min on the bench for their Londonderby against West Ham United.

The South Korean forward is struggling for form in-front of goal and the latest decision to bench him will not come as a surprise to the club’s fans.

Last season the South Korean shared the Golden Boot with Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah but he’s only managed just four league goals this season, including the hat-trick against Leicester.

He will now be hoping that he has the same level of impact he had when manager Antonio Conte benched against Leicester earlier in the campaign.

In his absence- Richarlsion who has struggled with injuries and form since his big money from Everton to Tottenham gets the chance to try and get his first league goal of the campaign.

Tottenham have lost their last two games and are without manager Antonio Conte who is still in Italy recovering from his gallbladder operation.

West Ham have also endured a challenging campaign so far but have shown signs of finally coming to life- and their gusty second half performance against Chelsea would have encouraged both the technical team and playing body.

The Hammers have lost their last six London derbies away from home and another defeat today will mean they become the first team to lose seven in Premier League history.

Tottenham Know they need a response as the fight for the final Champions League spot heats with Liverpool now looking like going for a run.
