Before leaving Tottenham, Conte questioned the ambition of the chairman and called his players selfish after they threw away a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 against Southampton with just 16 minutes left in the game.
He said at the St Mary’s which turned out to be his last game in charge of the Lilywhites: "We are 11 players that go into the pitch. I see selfish players, I see players that don't want to help each other and don't put their heart [in]."
"Because they are used to it here, they are used to it. They don't play for something important, yeah.

The former Spurs manager is regarded by many as one of the best tacticians in the game, having won league titles everywhere he’s been including at Chelsea and Juventus.
Tottenham though have moved on with the appointment of Ange Postecoglou who led them to a fifth-placed finish in the league and back to Europe.
