QPR confirm tasty pre-season clash against Premier League opposition
QPR have confirmed that Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur will visit Loftus Road next month in a tasty-looking pre-season friendly for Marti Cifuentes and his side ahead of the upcoming Championship season.
Ange Postecoglou will bring his men to west London on Saturday, July 20 for a 3 pm kick-off just three weeks before the Championship season gets underway on the weekend of August 10. Ticketing details for the friendly are to be confirmed by the club 'in due course' with streaming information also to follow.

Hide AdTottenham Hotspur finished fifth in the Premier League last season, narrowly missing out on Champions League football in their first season with Postecoglou in charge. The two London clubs haven't played each other since the R's were in the top flight during the 2014/15 campaign.
That season, Spurs won both fixtures, claiming a 4-0 romp at White Hart Lane in August before winning 2-1 at Loftus Road in March. In that last meeting, England international Harry Kane bagged a brace for Spurs while QPR star, and former Tottenham man, Sandro pulled back a consolation goal for the hosts.
Reacting to news of the friendly against Premier League rivals on social media platform X, one fan labelled it a 'brilliant choice of opposition' while others wrote 'love it' and 'sweet as'. One supporter wrote: "Marti expecting big things next season I sense."
The Spurs fixture comes after QPR had already announced a trip to the Select Car Leasing stadium to take on Reading on Saturday, July 27. The club will also play two fixtures behind closed doors while on a summer training camp in Girona between July 1 and July 12 as Cifuentes takes his men back to his homeland of Catalonia.
