Tottenham Hotspur have a break from Premier League football as they take on Championship side Preston North End away from home in the FA Cup on Saturday. Antonio Conte’s side won 1-0 away at Fulham last time out in the league and will be eager to build on that now.

They remain 5th in the table and will be eyeing a good cup run. Here is a look at the latest injury news ahead of the weekend....

Spurs are without attacking midfielder Lucas Moura who continues to be out with a tendon injury. The Brazilian attacking midfielder is out of contract at the end of this season and his long-term future is up in the air at the moment.

Winger Bryan Gil is a doubt and has missed the last two games against Manchester City and Fulham with a knock he sustained in training. He started in the last round at home to Portsmouth. Meanwhile, Harry Kane has been ill this week and only returned training on Friday, as per The Athletic.

Conte with a chance to freshen up his ranks in the FA Cup. Number two goalkeeper Fraser Forster should start between the sticks instead of Hugo Lloris, whilst the likes of Japhet Tanganga, Pape Matar Sarr and Ryan Sessegnon will want to feature. New signing Arnaut Danjuma will be in the squad.

As for Preston, striker Troy Parrott can’t play against his parent club and Manchester City loanee Liam Delap is cup tied. Forward Emile Riis is out for the rest of this campaign with a knee problem.
