Everton travel to north London this weekend without two of their key players, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Vitaliy Mykolenko for the game against Tottenham. Doucoure has been a key player in Sean Dyche's side this season, scoring six goals this term.

The former Watford midfielder missed the defeat to Fulham in the League Cup but there were hopes that he would return for the game against Spurs this weekend. However, Dyche confirmed he's picked up a knock and won't be ready for the game.

The Everton manager told reporters ahead of the game: "Probably not at the weekend but going forward, we're hopeful. He's super-fit, as you all know, his body seems - in my experience and his - he's a good healer so we're hopeful it settles down quickly."

Everton were also without Mykolenko for a second straight game while Seamus Coleman and Ashley Young haven't been involved in a month. The Blues' dreams of reaching the Carabao Cup final were dashed after a 1-1 draw at full-time. The Toffees lost the shootout 7-6, with Amadou Onana and Idrissa Gana Gueye missing.

They face a Tottenham side who are fresh, having trained all week due to their non-involvement in the League Cup and buoyed by their return to form after wins against Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest in their last two games.

Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou will be hoping for three points that take them back into the top four of the league table for the first time since early November.
