Tottenham injury update: James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur and Micky van de Ven latest news and return dates

Tottenham remain without several key players going into this weekend's game against Everton.

Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham, continue to impress despite an ongoing injury crisis and suspensions. Last Friday, they beat Nottingham Forest but that came at a cost with midfielder Yves Bissouma red-carded after a reckless challenge in the second half against Ryan Yates.

Italian defender Destiny Udogie who has been one of the top performers for the Lilywhites this season will miss out on the Everton game this weekend due to suspension, leaving Australian manager Postecoglou down to bare bones. On the field, things are picking up with back-to-back wins that has left them in fifth, one point behind Manchester City in fourth despite a pile of injured players.

Tottenham were undefeated in their first 10 league games when they had almost a full squad and injuries to players like Micky van de Ven and James Maddison have certainly taken a toll on their performance. The return of Cristian Romero from suspension and Pape Matar Sarr from injury has certainly helped in earning a point against Manchester City before wins against Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest came along.

Being knocked out of the League Cup at the early stage might now be a blessing in disguise as they have a full week to prepare for the league game this weekend.

At their best and in full health, Spurs have blown teams away this season. While they are not without their quality right now, recovering some key players feels crucial in getting them back into the Champions League.  With that in mind, here’s a look at the latest Tottenham injuries.
