Chelsea had a bid of around £18million for him turned down last summer and even though they have not gone blazing for him since then, sources say they were also still interested, but their loss is now Bees' manager Thomas Frank's gain.
West London side Brentford have agreed to pay a fee in the region of £26million and will allow the four-time capped Norway international to return to Brugge for the second half of the season before returning to London in the summer for pre-season ahead of the 2024/2025 Premier League season.
