Arsenal fans were left fuming as British rapper and big Tottenham Hotspur fan AJ Tracey mocked the North London rivals following their bitter 3-0 defeat to Brighton on Sunday.

The Seagulls stunned The Gunners at the Emirates Stadium with a result that looked to effectively end any dying hopes of Arsenal pulling off a shock comeback to regain their place at the top of the Premier League before the end of the season.

Goals from Julio Enciso, Deniz Undav and Pervis Estupinan did the business for Roberto De Zerbi and Brighton as a Manchester City win against Everton at Goodison Park further dampened Gunners' moods.

Comments about the side 'bottling' their title hopes flooded in on social media and one name who joined in was AJ Tracey.

The 'Ladbrooke Grove' star got his hands on an image of Paddy Power pranking Arsenal earlier this month by delivering a large bottle to the Emirates Stadium and shared it on his social media accounts with the caption, "vintage bottle".

Unsurprisingly, the rapper saw a flood of mixed comments pour in online with fellow Spurs fans giggling along and Arsenal supporters struggling to find the humour in the post.

One Gooner said: "Crazy that a good season for Spurs is Arsenal not winning a trophy, can’t win any of your own so have to celebrate your rivals not winning any either."

Another added: "No way are a club so starved by their own series of bottlings that they celebrated a pre-season trophy, piping up like this."

Meanwhile, one user replied: "They'll need a bigger bottle to collect the tears."

29-year-old Tracey has been a Spurs fan ever since a young boy in the 1990s as his love for the club was passed down by his dad. In recent years, the star has been seen following his side all across the globe.

Speaking about his first Tottenham Hotspur memory, AJ Tracey has said: “My dad giving me the purple Pony shirt, late 1990s, and giving me a big hug. I’ve still got that shirt. It’s tiny, but I’ll never get rid of it.”

When giving an interview to the club, the Brixton-born artist also opened up about his match day routine when going to see Spurs play at home.

He said: “I tend to drive in now, usually meet my younger brother along the way. He lives in a different side of London to me. He might be an even bigger fan than me - he’s got a lot of trivia!

"We’ll park up, walk around the front of the stadium, get a bite to eat, sit down, excited, get a drink and say ‘hi’ to everyone around me. I’m a Season Ticket Holder, so I know everyone around me. It’s like a family.”
