Tottenham ‘ready to rival’ Arsenal to sign Crystal Palace star

Per the Evening Standard, Tottenham Hotspur are ready to rival Arsenal for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi as both clubs aim to upgrade their defence. The 22-year old England international has been one of the standout performers for the Eagles this season having moved to Selhurst Park from Chelsea in 2021.

Spurs are said to have a ‘long standing’ interest in Guehi and could prioritise defensive reinforcements this summer with Clement Lenglet due to return to Barcelona at the end of his loan spell and Davinson Sanchez facing an uncertain future. Arsenal are said to have identified the Crystal Palace man as potential reinforcement for their current defensive options.

West Ham ‘prepare for life after Rice’

West Ham are scouring the transfer market for a midfielder signing as they prepare for life after Declan Rice, reports Football Insider. Arsenal are said to be ‘leadling the way’ in the race to sign the England international.
