The 31-year-old, who has now signed for the 14th club in his career, will play alongside Joel Lynch in the Middle East. Lynch spent three years at Loftus Road between 2016 and 2019, having signed from Huddersfield Town for £1.2 million.

The defender signed for Precision FC in the summer of 2023 having been released by Brighton and scored five goals last season as he helped his club to promotion. The defender played alongside Morrison at QPR during the midfielder's second loan spell at Loftus Road in 2017.

Morrison helps QPR to promotion

The former Manchester United academy product, who had been tipped for big things by Sir Alex Ferguson, first arrived at QPR on loan from West Ham in 2014. Prior to moving to the Hammers in 2012, Sir Alex said of the star: “A brilliant footballer, Brilliant ability, Top class ability, Needs to get away from Manchester and start a new life”.

During that first stint at QPR, Morrison helped the side to the Championship play-off final, which they won against Derby County under the management of Harry Redknapp - the manager had hailed the youngster as a ‘real talent’. The player would then return to QPR three years later, again on loan, this time from Lazio.

The London outfit had the chance to make that switch permanent for £7 million come the end of the loan spell but did not use that option as Morrison returned to Italy. Morrison last played in the UK for Derby County between 2021 and 2022, where he made 36 Championship appearances in a season that saw the side relegated to League One.
