Morrison is a product of the Manchester United youth academy and had been tipped to achieve great things in the Premier League. He made just three senior appearances for the Red Devils before signing for West Ham in 2012.
West Ham signed Morrison for £650,000
The Hammers paid £650,000 to sign the midfielder in January 2012. When selling the rising star, Sir Alex Ferguson told the London club: “A brilliant footballer, Brilliant ability, Top class ability, Needs to get away from Manchester and start a new life”.

Picking up five goals and two assists for the Hammers, Morrison did have moments of brilliance including a West Ham goal of the season in September 2013 against Tottenham Hotspur in a 3-0 win, which was heralded as 'genius' by manager Sam Allardyce.
Morrison was last on the books at Derby County between 2021 and 2022, where he made 36 Championship appearances in a season that saw the side relegated to League One.
