QPR are hoping that Stefan Johansen is fit for their game against Norwich City on Wednesday, as per West London Sport. The midfielder went off against Birmingham last time out and will be assessed.

Boss Michael Beale made the most of his day off on Saturday by visiting his former club Rangers in action against Aberdeen. The Scottish Daily Express have reported that he was in the crowd at Ibrox.

Millwall

Millwall are expected to bring George Saville back into the side for their upcoming matches. The midfielder was ill last weekend against West Brom and stayed on the bench against Huddersfield on Saturday. His manager Gary Rowett has told the Southwark News: “There’s a good chance that he’ll come into the team for the next couple of games, or one of the next couple of games certainly.”

Rowett refused to have a go at his players after their loss at the John Smith’s Stadium and said, as per London News Online: “I could be really greedy and have a go at the players for not doing it properly. They tried, we just haven’t performed in the same way that we have in the last five games.”

Newcastle United were keen on Watford ace Joao Pedro over the summer and their striker Chris Wood was discussed as a potential ‘makeweight’ in the deal. However, the Hornets never gave that proposal any ‘serious consideration’, as detailed in a report by The Athletic.

Slaven Bilic’s side will be without midfielder Hamza Choudhury for their clash against Cardiff City away on Wednesday. He has picked up too many yellow cards and is suspended now for a game.
