QPR will assess Tyler Roberts and Chris Willock today ahead of their trip to St Andrew’s tomorrow. The pair are struggling with respective injuries and won’t be rushed back in. Michael Beale has told West London Sport:

“Tyler still has this slight problem with his calf where some days it’s good some days it’s not and it’s important we make a good decision with him. With Chris, given we have five games left (before the World Cup), do we put him on the bench tomorrow or do we wait until Norwich? It will be a decision based on who is available.”

Leon Balogun has praised Beale for staying amid interest from the Premier League and has told the official club website: “It was also a very unselfish act. Ultimately, most of the boys here want to play in the Premier League one day and every manager wants to be there, too. It’s the best league in the world and there were enough reasons for him to take the job.

“It was a massive opportunity for him. But he’s stayed and that’s fantastic for us, because he’s a special individual who will go a long way.”

Millwall are said to be interested in Nottingham Forest striker Lyle Taylor, according to a report by Football League World. The Monserrat international has fallen down the pecking order at the City Ground and could move on in January.

Gary Rowett believes that there is more to come from summer recruit Zian Flemming, despite his recent impressive form. He has said, as per London News Online: “As a player, there is more to come. He is adapting to the physicality of the league. He is adapting to the pace of the league and he has come from a league where it is a completely different style of football.”

Watford

Watford have been linked with Fluminense winger Matheus Martins. A permanent move to Udinese and then a loan switch to Vicarage Road in January has been touted. However, the player’s current club president Mario Bittencourt has provided this update, as per Netflu (via Sport Witness): “The player is not sold yet. There’s a negotiation going on, it’s no secret to anyone. Since June, this group that controls Udinese and Watford has been trying to make proposals for the player.”

The Hornets’ owner Gino Pozzo is reportedly closing in on a deal to buy a new club. According to Spanish news outlet Sport, he has his eyes on Spanish side Sabadell.
