QPR defender Jake Clarke-Salter is facing a lenghty spell on the sidelines, as per a report by West London Sport . He picked up a calf injury last Friday.
R’s manager Neil Critchley has urged the club to stick together despite their recent poor run of form. The ex-Blackpool man has said, as per the Ealing Times:“It’s clear we need to do better. But I saw a team today fighting on the pitch right until the end and the supporters stayed with us all the way.”
Millwall
Millwall are unlikely to delve into the free agent market between now and the end of the season. Boss Gary Rowett has told the Southwark News: “Regardless of whether we go and find someone as a free transfer, we’re still going to be sitting here asking whether we scored enough goals and whether we won enough games. I don’t think there’s an easy answer to that other than waiting until the end of the season and seeing where we finish.”
Rowett was delighted with the win away at QPR on Saturday and it leaves his side 5th in the table. He said, as per London News Online: “Regardless of how long it was [since Millwall last won at Loftus Road], it always feels like a tough place to come. As a manager, I never seem to win here very often. With the atmosphere and everything else, it always feels like quite a hard place to get three points.”
