QPR boss Michael Beale has opened up about his decision to reject a potential switch to Premier League side Wolves. He has told the official club website:

“Wolves is a fantastic football club and it was a real privilege to be asked to speak to them but I didn’t think it was the right moment because I entered into an agreement here. Integrity and loyalty are big things for me, and if they are the values you live by you have to be strong.

“I have been all-in here and I have asked other people to be all-in so I can’t be the first person to run away from the ship. I don’t think we are anywhere near where I want QPR to be. We have a lot to do but I’m excited by it.”

Hoops chairman Amit Bhatia has also taken to Twitter to post the following message (see below):

Millwall have been dealt a blow on the injury front regarding Murray Wallace. The centre-back will be out of action for the next couple of weeks with a groin problem, as per a report by London News Online.

The Lions have been granted permission for a new training ground. As per the club’s website, they are planning to build a new ‘state-of-the-art training facility for the first team and Academy which is aligned with its long-term objectives’.

Watford

According to a report by The Sun, former Watford boss Rob Edwards could return to Wolves. The ex-Forest Green Rovers manager may link up with their caretaker boss Steve Davis, who will be in charge until 2023 now.

The Hornets will be without midfielder Imran Louza for ‘months’, as per Watford Observer reporter Andrew French. He went off injured against Millwall in midweek.
