The transfer window may be shut but the free agent market is still open.

After a flurry of action in the opening weeks and the madness of Deadline Day, all of a sudden it's all quiet on the Championship front for QPR, Millwall and Watford.

The international break has paused second tier action with over a week still to wait until the R's, Lions and Hornets are back in action.

Clubs will be using this time to put in the hard yards on the training pitch, bed in new arrivals and, perhaps, make the most of the free agent market.

8. Kristoffer Klaesson - £1.5m

The former Leeds United goalkeeper had signed for Polish Ekstraklasa club Raków Częstochowa this summer following his release from Elland Road but is already a free agent again having left by mutual consent at the end of August.

An unlikely signing for QPR having been released by the club on a Deadline Day but the USA international will no doubt be eyed up by Championship rivals. The full-back made 21 appearances last season.

Former Manchester United man was released from Old Trafford this summer after 16 years with the club. Spent last season on loan in the Championship with Ipswich Town and played a bit part in the club's promotion campaign.
