It's set to be an important summer at Loftus Road. Marti Cifuentes will oversee his first summer transfer window and look to build a side to avoid any relegation worries next season. The head coach proved his knowhow when it comes to acquisitions with some clever January moves for stars including Lucas Andersen and Isaac Hayden.
As we get closer and closer to the transfer market swinging open, LondonWorld looks through the QPR squad to see how each first-team player has done this season and what the future may hold for them at the club.
1. Asmir Begovic
Only signed on a one-year deal last season and had a bit of a hit-and-miss campaign in between the sticks. It would perhaps be surprising for the R's to bring him back to Loftus Road. That said, a new goalkeeper signing does seem a real possibility. | Getty Images
2. Jordan Archer
Played just once in the Carabao Cup this season and lost his spot on the bench to Walsh towards the end of the campaign. His contract is up this summer and you could see the shot-stopper leaving to find some game time. That said, with the departure of Begovic, QPR lack an experienced option in the goalkeeping position, which Archer could provide. | Getty Image Photo: Getty Image
3. Joe Walsh
Out of contract at the club this season but there's a feeling that Walsh has the makings of a talented goalkeeper at just 22 years old. He made his league debut on the final day of the season against Coventry City and it seems a bit of a no-brainer to extend his deal. | Manchester United via Getty Imag
4. Murphy Mahoney
Not seen by QPR fans this year, he had his loan to Swindon Town cut short in December due to injury. His contract is up at Loftus Road this summer but at just 22 years old, the club could view it worth extending and potentially seek to loan him again next term. It perhaps feels somewhat like and either-or between Walsh and Mahoney - if both have contracts extended, one would surely head out on loan. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
