Fuham boss Marco Silva is unsure whether Aleksandar Mitrovic will be fit for their upcoming games. The striker sat out of the Cottagers’ game against Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend.

The Whites ended up winning 1-0 at the AMEX Stadium courtesy of Manor Solomon’s late goal. They are now 6th in the Premier League table and dreaming of European football next season.

Mitrovic, 28, has sustained a minor hamstring injury and is a doubt for the upcoming clashes against Wolves and Leeds United. The latter is an FA Cup fifth round clash at the end of February.

Silva has said, as per The Athletic: “We assessed him during the week, with some doubt about whether to take a risk or not. The medical staff told me was not available for the match. It looks a minor injury.

“I don’t know if he will ready for (Wolves) or just for Leeds. Let’s see. The next few days will be important for us to see if he will be available.”

Fulham played versatile Bobby Decordova-Reid up front against Brighton before bringing on Carlos Vinicius. Not having Mitrovic for the next couple of outings would be a blow as he is their top scorer in this campaign on 11 goals. However, Silva’s side managed without him against the Seagulls and will be pleased he isn’t out on a long-term basis.
