Fulham are reportedly keen on bolstering their striking department at the end of this season. The Cottagers are being linked with moves for Olivier Giroud and Viktor Gyokeres from AC Milan and Coventry City respectively.

Football Insider claim the Whites are ‘ready’ to swoop for former Chelsea and Arsenal man Giroud as he looks to return to London this summer from Italy. The same source also suggests Marco Silva’s side are ‘planning’ to move for Sweden international Gyokeres in the next transfer window as well.

Fulham currently play top scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic up front and he has been in decent form this term, scoring 11 goals. They then have Carlos Vinicius as competition and back-up but may want more firepower in that department in the next campaign.

Giroud, 36, is a proven goal scorer and has found the net 260 times in 652 games in his career. He would inject useful experience into the ranks at Craven Cottage and would be an exciting addition for supporters.

Gyokeres has proved himself in the Championship over the past couple of years and is ready to make the step up to the Premier League now. Fulham could hand him his chance in the top flight after seeing him fire 16 goals so far this season.
