Fulham are reportedly ‘well placed’ to tie up a new deal for in-demand Antonee Robinson. The left-back’s current contract expires in the summer of 2024.

He has emerged on the radar of fellow Premier League sides Newcastle United and Manchester City after his impressive season so far for the Cottagers. However, Football Insider report he is talks over fresh terms at Craven Cottage and negotiations are said to be ‘heading’ in the right direction.

Fulham signed the USA international, who was at the World Cup earlier this winter in Qatar, back in 2020 and he has since become one of their most prized assets. He has made 93 appearances in all competitions for the London club, 23 of which have come in this campaign.

Robinson, 25, helped Marco Silva’s side win the Championship title last term and he has since adapted well to the step back up to the top flight. Prior to his move down south, he had previously had spells in the North West at Everton, Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic.

Securing a contract extension for the full-back would be a big statement of intent by Fulham. Newcastle and Manchester City would have to look elsewhere for reinforcements in his position unless they put in an offer the Whites couldn’t refuse.
