Midfielder wanted

Fulham will face a battle to keep hold of midfielder Joao Palhinha this summer amid interest from London rivals West Ham. According to reporter Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, the Hammers are ‘preparing’ their first offer for the Portugal international as they eye up potential Declan Rice replacements. The 27-year-old has been a massive hit since moving to Craven Cottage last year from Sporting Lisbon.

Defender targeted

Tosin Adarabioyo is being linked with a switch to Tottenham Hotspur. According to Sky Sports, the former Manchester City man is among Ange Postecoglou’s defensive targets as he looks to bolster his squad after taking over from Antonio Conte. The Australian boss left Celtic to move down to England and will be looking to put his own stamp on his newly inherited squad with some reinforcements over the next couple of months.

Full-back latest

Fulham are interested in Leicester City full-back Timothy Castagne, as per LondonWorld’s Chris Wheatley on Twitter (see tweet below).

However, the Whites face competition from league rivals Crystal Palace and AFC Bournemouth. The Daily Mail claim Juventus are also in the frame.
