'Medical underway' - Crystal Palace on verge of major £13m transfer coup
Ismaila Sarr arrived in London today (Friday) to undergo his Crystal Palace medical ahead of signing a deal with the South London club. LondonWorld reported earlier in the week that the former Watford star has turned down an offer from Villarreal in favour of moving to Selhurst Park.
Sarr joined Marseille from the Hornets in July 2023. He registered 56 goal contributions in 131 outings with Watford and LondonWorld exclusively reported that the Eagles were close to agreeing a deal with him, but former manager Roy Hodgson was not quite sold on the player.

A decision has not been made on whether he will be on the plane to the U.S. on Sunday, but LondonWorld has been told he would be joining the team at some point in the States as they take their season preparations to the next level.
The Eagles have had three pre-season games so far, with matches against Sutton, Bournemouth, and Charlton Athletic. They will take on Crawley on Saturday before they fly out on Sunday.
Towards the end of last season, the Eagles were one of the division’s most in-form teams, winning five of their last six games - including a season-defining triumph at Anfield that effectively ended Liverpool’s title ambitions.
