Patrick Vieira’s team are tough to beat at home and are coming off a 1-1 draw with Brentford in the league, while Liverpool will just still be recovering from the Real Madrid defeat in the Champions League.
Klopp was able to recover Darwin Nunez for the for the game despite it looking like he would miss it and the Uruguayan then managed to score, but Thiago Alcantara (hip) and Luis Diaz (knee) are still sidelined, while Calvin Ramsay (knee) will miss the rest of the season after requiring surgery.
Ibrahima Konate was also missing from Real Madrid game but it remains unclear if he will be able to train and get himself ready for the visit to London, Joe Gomes who played the game also left the stadium clutching his hamstring but will need to be examined later today to see if he will recover in time.
Another centre-back Nat Phillips hasn’t been training and is also a huge doubt with pressure mounting on Klopp to put up some fight for the Champions League spot.
