Crystal Palace’s potential starting XI for next season - including one new signing and two linked players

Crystal Palace are preparing for the new Premier League season.

Crystal Palace are back in pre-season friendly action today against Manchester United in Brisbane.

The Eagles are gearing up for Patrick Viera’s second full campaign in charge and have been patient with their recruit so far this summer.

They have brought in young attacker Malcolm Ebiowei from Derby County, goalkeeper Sam Johnstone from West Bromwich Albion and midfielder Cheick Doucoure from Lens.

Palace finished 12th in the Premier League last term and will be looking to build on that in the next campaign. They still have some more friendlies to get through before then.

The club have been linked with various players in this transfer window and more arrivals could potentially be on the way before their first game of the new season on at home to fellow London club Arsenal on 5th August.
