Crystal Palace have a decision to make on what to do with Gordon this winter amid interest from the Football League. Loaning him out until the summer would enable him to get some experience under his belt to boost his development.

Gordon, 19, has risen up through the academy at Selhurst Park and has been a regular for the London club at various youth levels over recent years. He has caught the eye playing for the U21s so far this term and has scored six goals in 10 games in Premier League 2 and has also bagged two in two in the EFL Trophy to bolster his reputation.

Palace have a few players out on loan at the moment such as Killian Phillips at Shrewsbury Town, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi at Charlton Athletic and Scott Banks at Bradford City and Gordon could be the next to head out the exit door on a temporary basis, with Carlisle eager to snap him up.
