Crystal Palace predicted starting XI to face Manchester City: Will Viera shake things up for this one?

Crystal Palace have a tough away trip to champions Manchester City this weekend.

The Eagles go into the game on the back of a win though after beating Aston Villa at home in their last league game.

They will also take confidence from the fact they drew with Liverpool in their last match on the road.

Here is how Patrick Viera’s side could line up against City....

GK: Vicente Guita

The Spaniard has competition for his number one jersey from new signing Sam Johnstone.

RB: Nathaniel Clyne

He has made an impressive start to the season at right-back.

CB: Joachim Andersen

The centre-back was on the receiving end of a Darwin Nunez headbutt in their last away match and thankfully was alright.

CB: Marc Guehi

He has formed a solid partnership with Andersen in the heart of defence.

LB: Tyrick Mitchell

The left-back likes to get forward and provide his team with another outlet on the left flank.

CM: Cheick Doucoure

Crystal Palace swooped to sign him earlier this summer from French side RC Lens and he has slotted in nicely into their team.

CM: Jeff Schlupp

He has been playing in a more central position which gives Viera’s side more energy and power in the heart of midfield.

RW: Jordan Ayew

The winger enjoys plenty of game time with the South London club.

CAM: Ebe Eze

He caused Aston Villa problems last weekend and will be looking to do the same to Manchester City.

LW: Wilfried Zaha

He has made great to the season, scoring three goals in as many games.

ST: Odsonne Édouard

Viera needs to decide whether he starts the ex-Celtic man or Jean-Phillip Mateta up top.
