The Eagles have enjoyed a fine season, set for a mid-table finish, and they will be desperate to crown it with silverware. City have fallen short of their expectations, and so they are hoping to couple Champions League qualification with silverware.

Preparations are well underway for both clubs, and both have some injury question marks heading into the game, although more so City. Here we round up all the latest injury news surrounding Palace and City, with Oliver Glasner and Pep Guardiola set to give fresh updates later this week.

Oscar Bobb - Out

Guardiola has said: “Still, they are not available. They’ve started training with us, partially, but they’re still not available.” Bobb is almost certain to miss the final, but there is a very small possibility that he will return.

Nathan Ake - Doubt

The same update was applied to Ake, who may have a very small chance of making it for the final, but it seems unlikely.

John Stones - Doubt

Stones has been struggling with a hamstring injury. Guardiola has said: “Getting better, but not yet.”

Rodri - Doubt

Rodri has been out for much of the season with a an ACL rupture, but it has been reported that the Spaniard could be included among the substitutes at Wembley as he nears a return. Guardiola last said: “The moment the official doctor says Rodri can start to play minutes... he will, but the doctors have to tell me. He is making more sessions, but we have to wait so he doesn't make a step backwards and get injured again. Every training session, he feels better.”

Chadi Riad - Out

Riad is out until towards the end of 2025 after an ACL rupture. Glasner said after the injury happened: “Chadi has ruptured his ACL, so we have lost [him] for the rest of the season and even longer. There was no impact, and Chadi as well, it was just a normal situation in training ' so it's really frustrating.” It has been a frustrating season for Riad, who has missed almost the entire season between two injuries.

Cheick Doucoure - Out

Doucoure will also be absent long-term with a knee injury. Glasner said: “After further assessments, Cheicky needs surgery on his knee, so we have lost [him] for the rest of the season. We hope [he] will return for pre-season.”

Adam Wharton - Doubt

Wharton could well be back but must go down as a doubt, with Glasner having said: “Unfortunately, he’s not available. If everything goes right, he'll be reintegrated in full training on Wednesday when we start preparing for the [FA Cup] final - 90 per cent he can play. Sunday is too early. The pain is too much for this game. His [ankle] ligament is a little bit damaged.”
