Crystal Palace are pushing to close a deal for highly-rated Lazio midfielder Daichi Kamada.

Crystal Palace are taking ambition to the next level as they look to hunt down one of Europe’s best midfielders in Daichi Kamada. The 27-year-old won the Europa League in 2022 with Eintracht – under the guidance of Glasner.

The Austrian manager is desperate to work with the Japanese midfielder who he once described as Perfect in Germany. He once during his time at Eintracht: “We are lucky to have Daichi (Kamada) in so many ways he’s perfect for the way we play.”

The midfielder is also a target for AC Milan, Napoli and AS Roma. Palace have also been linked with Jobe Bellingham. The Sunderland prospect, the younger brother of Real Madrid superstar Jude, is a player that the South Londoners hold an interest in but nothing is at an advanced stage.

LondonWorld has been told the club has already booked a medical as the deal has been agreed with the player expected at Selhurst this week.

Another player expected to complete his move to the south London club is Chadi Riad after excelling at Real Betis and catching the attention of some of the best teams in Spain.

The Eagles have been working hard behind the scenes to build on what was the best end to the season they had in recent history. They won their last five games and finished 10th despite spending large parts of the campaign in 14th and briefly in danger of going down before Glasner walked through the door.

The Palace will be tested this summer

One of the challenges this summer will be how they can keep hold of three of their exciting players. Michael Olise has been linked to Chelsea where he spent his formative years before moving to Reading where he exploded in the Championship.

Eberechi Eze is also one that clubs like Manchester City and Arsenal are looking at while defender Marc Guehi, also heading for the Euros with England is one that rivals, Tottenham and Arsenal have been looking at.

Manager Glasner has been sensational since he took over the club in February and the club want to back him as they look to push to secure Europe next season.
