Tuchel won the Champions League in his first half season in charge, and he went on to see his side hampered by the whole ownership situation, which saw Roman Abramovich sell the club.

The German was heavily backed in the summer with new signings, though he seemed the butt heads with the new regime over incomings.

And after a disappointing start to the campaign, Tuchel was sacked, with Graham Potter coming in to replace him.

Since then, the former Paris Saint-Germain boss has been biding his time, taking time out from the game.

According to The Telegraph, Tuchel has already received offers from two unnamed Premier League clubs, but he has rejected both offers.

It seems it is going to take the right offer from the right club to get Tuchel back into the game, but interestingly, it seems the England job is of interest.

Gareth Southgtae is under increasing pressure, with the Three Lions failing to win any of their Nations League fixtures, suffering relegration to League B.

According to the report, Tuchel would be interested in taking over from Southgate if the World Cup doesn’t go well.

Though, as it stands, the current England boss is under contract until 2024 having penned an extension in the last year.

It will be interesting to see whether Tuchel waits to see if the England opportunity pops up, or whether he takes one of the many jobs that are likely to come up in England and abroad over the coming months.

As far as the England job goes, we are likely to know more about Southgate’s future within the next three months, with the World Cup taking place within that time frame.
