Chelsea linked with want-away superstar transfer as Blues look to offload flop duo in January

Chelsea are getting back on track under new boss Graham Potter.

The Blues defeated AC Milan to move to the top of their Champions League group, defeating the Serie A champions in back-to-back European outings.

Potter’s men are now four games unbeaten, and they are back in the top four as a result.

Chelsea are eight points behind leaders Arsenal with a game in hand, and if they can maintain their current form, they may be able to haul themselves back into the thick of the title race.

Mbappe links

Chelsea are being linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe suddently wants to leave PSG, according to reports, and that’s despite only signing a huge new contract last summer.

It’s reported the Frenchman is unhappy with the French club and wants to leave as soon as this winter. According to Sport, Real Madrid are favourites, but Chelsea are also said to be interested amid their search for a long-term frontman.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is already impressing for the Blues, but he is not a long-term option, and it seems Romelu Lukaku won’t be returning any time soon.

Zakaria reports

Chelsea are being backed to offload summer loan signing Denis Zakaria.

Zakaria is yet to feature, and according to 90 Min, Chelsea are looking to terminate the loan deal in January, with Zakaria not part of Potter’s plans.

Crucially, though, Juventus would have to want to play Zakaria to get him back, with the midfielder unable to play for a third club this season if he even plays one minute for Chelsea, which seems likely.

Hakim Ziyech is another player who is set to be moved off the books according to the report.
