Manager Eddie Howe has the longest injury list in the Premier League with as many as 10 players currently out either through hurt or suspended.

Sandro Tonali (banned), Jacob Murphy (shoulder), Dan Burn (back), Elliot Anderson (back), Sven Botman (knee), Harvey Barnes (toe), Callum Wilson (hamstring), Javier Manquillo (groin), Matt Targett (hamstring) and Lewis Hall (ineligible) are ruled out.

Chelsea have had another smooth international break with no major injury concerns and their own concerns are beginning to lighten up.

Big summer signings Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku are all pushing to return while the goals have started flowing in.

They beat previously undefeated Tottenham 4-1 and came back three times against Manchester City to earn a point against treble winners Manchester City.

The Blues have only lost once in their last seven games in all competitions and go into this weekend's game as the in-form side.

Newcastle United have won their past four home Premier League matches, keeping a clean sheet in each while the Blues have lost 13 Premier League away matches against the Magpies, only being beaten more at Arsenal and Liverpool (15 each) in the competition.
