Mauricio Pochettino confirms latest significant blow but assures fans ahead of Blackburn and Tottenham

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed his assistant Jesus Perez has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association (FA).

The Chelsea assistant manager will have until the end of working day tomorrow to reply which suggests he could be available for the game against Blackburn tomorrow even though he could miss the league game against Tottenham on Monday night.

The Chelsea assistant manager was sent off after he entered the Brentford technical area and Pochettino admitted his number NO two ove stretched his limits.

Pochettino told reporters ahead of the game against Blackburn: “I think he is available for tomorrow and I think he deserves to be fined, to be punished because you cannot go.

“I need to apologise to Brentford coaching staff because we cannot go into the Brentford area. He knows he made a mistake. Being fair he wanted to win, wanted to help the team to get the ball and to start the play.

“I think the attitude of Jesus, we want this type of behaviour but he forgot that this season is a new rule, if you go to another technical area, it’s enough.”

The Chelsea boss however admitted he was gling to put out his best team for the game ana dbuild momentum goining inot tough games against Tottenham and Manchester City.

Assuring fans that he was going to do everything possible to get the team back to where they belong. He added: “Really important.

“I told you before we started the season, I think a competition like the Carabao Cup or FA Cup is really important for us. Tomorrow we are going to try and play with our best team. Some players that maybe we need to rest because we need to do some rest because after Saturday’s game, we cannot take some risk. In general we are going to try to put our our best team.”
